There is no one like him, says Aahana Kumra as she wishes her first co-star Amitabh Bachchan on his birthday – Times of India

Aahana Kumra shared an adorable throwback photo as she wished her first co-star, who was none other than Amitabh Bachchan. The mahanayak of Bollywood and his birthday calls for every bit of a celebration. While the actor is an inspiration to people across film industries, Aahana is truly grateful to him as she made her television debut with ‘Yudh’, which starred Mr Bachchan. She took to social media today as she recalled her first show and also wished Big B on his 79th birthday with a heartfelt post.

She tells us, “It was a dream-come-true moment for me when I got an opportunity to work with him at such an early stage in my career. I will always cherish the experience and on his birthday today, I wish the best of things for him. There is no one like him, and I will forever be grateful for the experience that I shared with him.”

Talking about working with the star of the millennium, she says, “He made me feel extremely comfortable on the first day of the shoot. It just didn’t feel that I was sitting next to a megastar. He has a very humane approach to the whole process of acting and breaks the ice effortlessly. He called me and asked if I had any problem with the rehearsals. Fortunately, my theatre background enabled me to sail through it. He was so humble and generous. He would clap for me during my scenes when I did well because he always wants his co-actors to do well. I share a great equation with him to date and he is always the first person to wish me on my birthday…sharp at 12 am.”

Aahana also points at Big B’s promptness when it comes to replying to messages. She says. “I have learnt a hundred things from him. One of them is always responding to messages because he is somebody who always responds. No matter how busy he is in his schedule, he responds to text messages. So, I tell everyone that if Mr Bachchan can do it, then everybody can. The second thing is punctuality because he believes in being on time. He had once told me, ‘If you respect time, time will respect you’. I see a lot of actors come in late but I wish they had the opportunity to work with him at the beginning of their career to learn this very important virtue from a senior like him. I never go late just because I have been taught this lesson by him. He is the most hardworking individual I have ever come across. After working with him, I want to work hard all my life, and respect time and people.”
