Talking about it, filmmaker Shoojit Sircar recently told a news portal that there are people be asking him why he has shown Udham Singh drinking alcohol in the film. According to him, Udham was a young man in London at that point. For him, it would be normal, what would a young man at that stage do?
The filmmaker further added that if anyone has any objection about the scene, he is ready to sit and discuss it. He revealed that he has a fact about where Udham Singh went and what he did.
While speaking about using dialogues of the British characters in Udham Singh, Shoojit revealed he had not used the kind of ‘Gora language that Bollywood typically uses. He never identified with that and never understood the meaning of using such a language.
The makers of ‘Sardar Udham‘ held a special screening in the city on Friday, (Oct 15) which was attended by several A-listers from B-Town.
