
Filmmaker Rahul Dholakia called the court’s order ‘outrageous’. Urging that Aryan should be freed, Rahul Dholakia tweeted, “Outrageous !!! You are saying there is a “possible” connection to his “international” racket based on “WhatsApp” chat recovered from his phone, that you confiscated on a “bust” where he “had nothing” ?And you have been fishing for days and yet not found anything? #FreeAryanKhan.”
Aryan Khan was arrested by the Narcotics Contrl Bureau on October 3 and has been in judicial custody for 14 days already. Soon after his bail plea was rejected, Aryan’s legal team moved HC against the order. According to reports, Aryan Khan’s bail application is likely to be heard in the Bombay High Court tomorrow morning. Currently, Aryan is lodged at the Arthur Road Jail with several other accused in this drugs-on-cruise case. Reacting to Aryan’s bail application, zonal director of NCB’s Mumbai unit, Sameer Wankhede stated, ‘Satyamev Jayate’.
