Jannat Zubair to learn Punjabi for her debut Pollywood movie ‘Kulche Chole’ – Times of India

Jannat Zubair is one of the most popular faces of the entertainment world. She has featured on the small screen, gained a lot of love for her social media presence, and has been known to entertain people with her appearances in both Hindi and Punjabi song videos. Now, after winning hearts in all these domains, the actress is now ready to explore a new horizon by making her Pollywood debut with the project titled ‘Kulche Chole’.

Talking about the movie, in her exclusive conversation with ETimes, Jannat said, “‘Kulche Chole’ is a very important film for me, as I’m making my debut as a female lead. When this film was offered to me, it was made clear by the studio that Punjabi language and adapting to Punjabi culture was important.”

“I took this challenge as an inspiration, as I believe that learning never ends. And learning the Punjabi language is a whole journey that one has to take. I’m really getting into the depths of it to ensure that my portrayal of a Punjabi girl looks flawless. I’m working really hard because I know that this is a new and fresh offering for my fans too,” Jannat added.

Further, the poster of the same came out today and was shared by Jannat on her social media handle. In the film, Jannat Zubair will be seen opposite Dilraj Grewal. He is a Punjabi singer, who is also making his debut with the movie.

Directed by Simerjit Singh Hundal, the movie is touted to be a romantic comedy and is slated to hit the big screens in 2022. Also, the source close to the movie has unveiled that the shoot of the movie will be going on the floors soon.
