Aryan Khan’s friend Arbaaz Merchant, who was also arrested by the NCB on October 3 in a drug case, was released from the Arthur Road jail on Sunday. He was granted bail along with Shah Rukh Khan’s son. A day after Aryan’s release, Arbaaz walked out of jail after the entire process was done.

Aryan, Arbaaz and six others were arrested by the NCB after they raided a cruise ship in Mumbai and busted a drug party. Earlier today, Munmun Dhamecha was released from jail. Dhamecha’s advocate Ali Kaashif Khan on Sunday said, “She has been released from the jail after completion of all the legal formalities. We are now going to file an application before the NCB seeking permission to allow her to go Madhya Pradesh, as she hails from there.”

The HC had in its detailed order asked Aryan, Arbaaz and Munmun to appear before the NCB’s Mumbai office every Friday between 11.00 am to 2.00 pm to mark their presence.

Earlier, after the kids were granted bail by the Bombay High Court, Arbaaz’s father Aslam Merchant told the media, “We’ve been waiting for this moment for 34,560 minutes. My wife was counting minutes not days. These children have been traumatized.”
