Suriya has joined hands with director Bala for the third time after a long gap, and the film was officially launched a few weeks back. Now, the latest report is that Hema Malini will make her Kollywood comeback with Suriya and Bala’s film. The team is planning to rope in Hema Malini for a key role in the film, and they are in talks with the veteran actress. Hema Malini has also reportedly shown her interest, but she is considering the shoot plans.
Veteran Bollywood actress Hema Malini started her cinema journey by appearing in a song in the 1963 Tamil film ‘Idhu Sathiyam‘. Later, the actress moved into Hindi and claimed fame with her outstanding acting skills. Hema Malini then acted in only one Tamil film ‘Hey Ram’ starring Kamal Haasan, which is also a Tamil-Hindi bilingual.
Suriya is expected to begin work for Bala’s directorial soon, and the full cast and crew details will be announced before the film launch. Suriya is producing the film under his 2D Entertainment, and it’s unclear whether he plays the lead role or an extended cameo. Keerthy Suresh is in consideration for the female lead, and she is also not fixed yet.
