Harrdy Sandhu shares a captivating still from ‘83’ – Times of India


Punjabi singer Harrdy Sandhu is all set to make his big Bollywood debut this Christmas with the sports drama ‘83’. In the movie, the Punjabi star will be seen essaying the role of Madan Lal, the fast bowler who played a vital role in India’s 1983 World Cup victory.

Further, the trailer of the movie came out some time back, and Harrdy Sandhu’s performance was highly lauded. The artist was really overwhelmed by the response that his work and the trailer got, and he thanked the audience. Also, today he took to his social media handle to share a still from ‘83’ to keep the grip tight over the cine-lovers and his fans!

He posted a picture of him from the trailer, right before he delivered his dialogue – “”Kapil isse samjha le, mein sarr pe maar deni hai ball””.

Harrdy has a pure Bollywood story behind his first Hindi movie break. He didn’t plan on this to happen, but things simply started falling at the right place after Ammy Virk made Harrdy meet Kabir Khan. He was asked to play Madan Lal on the big screen, so he shared an audition video where he copied the fast bowler’s style with finesse. It did take him a long time to hear back from the makers of the movie, but the day he got to know that his efforts paid off, he was undoubtedly on the nineth cloud.
