Raj Babbar remembers late wife Smita Patil on her death anniversary; calls her ‘noble soul’ – Times of India


Veteran actor turned politician Raj Babbar took to social media to remember his late wife Smita Patil on her death anniversary. The late actress had impressed with her body of work.

On her death anniversary, Raj Babbar took to Twitter and penned an emotional note. He shared a beautiful picture of his late wife and wrote, “Smita was a noble soul – something which reflected so vividly in her craft. She had a captivating presence but what stood out was her sensitive self. In the short span she had, she touched so many lives & always left an indelible impression. Fondly remembering her today.”

Meanwhile, Smita Patil’s son and actor Prateik Babbar got a tattooed made this year and dedicated it to her. He got his mother’s name inked on his chest. While speaking to ETimes, he had said, “ I always wanted my mother’s name tattooed. I have been indecisive about it for years. The moment finally felt right. She’s inked exactly where she’s supposed to be, on my heart. 1955 signifies the year she was born & now with me till infinity.”
