With cinemas shutting down in Delhi, the collection of ‘Pushpa’ (Hindi) will be affected. However, ‘Pushpa’ (Hindi) has got the maximum business coming in from Maharashtra and Gujarat, which is enarlt 60 per cent. In its second week, ‘Pushpa’ (Hindi) is expected to add around 20 crore to its collection, recording a drop of 25 per cent from the first week.
‘Pushpa’ is originally a Telugu-language action drama, which has been released in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi languages. Starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in the lead, this entertainer is written and directed by Sukumar. The film released on December 17 and a section of the audience had taken objection to a particular romantic scene in the movie. The sequence in question featured the lead actor touching his love interest’s chest in a public place. It raised eyebrows as the gesture was not liked by the Telugu audience. The ‘van scene’ or ‘tiffin scene’ was faced a lot of flak from Allu Arjun’s fans and following the uproar, the makers decided to delete the controversial sequence.
