Sonam Kapoor rings in 2022 in pyjamas; Anand Ahuja shares pictures from London confessing they had ‘a momentary outfit change’ – Times of India

Sonam Kapoor and husband Anand Ahuja had a low key New Year celebration at their London residence. Yesterday, Sonam too to Instagram and shared some glamorous pictures of the couple in which they twinned in black. She also gave a glimpse of their huge dinner table ready for supper. “Happy new year to the love of my life. He is not just #everydayphenomenal, he is everyyearphenomenal and the person I want to spend every new year with. Wishing all of you good health, happiness and fulfilment in 2022. @anandahuja #newyear,” read her caption.

Later Anand showed the other side of the celebrations in which Sonam wore her pyjamas! “In 2020 & 2021, travel restrictions made seeing family hard for all of us. In 2022, I most hope for & look forward to making up for that lost time with lots of time with family & friends. Anand too changed into a casual outfit after the photo session.

Recently, Sonam Kapoor had strongly reacted against MLA Sudhir Mungantiwar’s comments about the LGBTQ community. The politician was reportedly speaking about the Maharashtra Public University Act, 2016 Bill, which aims to include LGBTQIA community members on University Boards. Questioning the bill he stated, “Are you going to include lesbians and gays as members? Have some seriousness.” Reacting to the same Sonam Kapoor shared on Instagram, “Ignorant, illiterate and hurtful.”

On the work front, Sonam Kapoor will be next seen in Shome Makhjia’s directorial ‘Blind’. She will be portraying the character of a visually impaired police officer.
