Ajay Devgn to start shooting for Hindi remake of ‘Kaithi’ from next week – Times of India


Ajay Devgn has projects like ‘Kaithi’, ‘Raid 2’ and ‘Singham 3’ lined up for this year. Earlier this week, the actor was supposed to start filming for a movie, however, it has been put on hold. Now, according to a report, Ajay will start shooting for ‘Kaithi’ helmed by Dharmendra Sharma in the next week. For the unversed, Sharma is Ajay’s cousin.

The actor has already wrapped up the shootings of ‘Maidaan’, ‘Thank God’, ‘Runway 34’, ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ and a web series ‘Rudra: The Age Of Darkness’.

The actor had announced in 2020 that he is working on the Hindi remake of the famous Tamil action thriller ‘Kaithi’.

After a lot of speculations about him working in the film, the actor confirmed it by sharing the update on Twitter. “Yes, I’m doing the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Kaithi,” he tweeted

Tamil film ‘Kaithi’ is a thriller which revolves around an ex-convict on the quest to meet his daughter after leaving prison but is interrupted due to a well-orchestrated drug raid.
