Tollywood star and former Union Minister K Chiranjeevi has reportedly been offered a Rajya Sabha ticket from Chief Minister and YSR Congress President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
There are rumors that the discussion happened at their lunch meeting on 13th January in Vijayawada. The CM had invited the actor and former Union minister for lunch to talk about the controversy over cinema ticket prices in the state.
Sources close to the Chief Minister’s office revealed to Times Of India that the two discussed more on politics than the film industry, where Jagan offered a Rajya Sabha seat to Chiranjeevi.
Neither Chiranjeevi nor the CMO has officially confirmed that they have talked about the Rajya Sabha seat.
