The ‘Golmaal’ actor has reunited with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali after two long decades. Ajay will play a prominent role in the Alia-lead ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. Bhansali and Devgn have previously worked together in the 1999 blockbuster ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’. It also marks the actor’s reunion with Alia, with whom he shares the screen in the upcoming SS Rajamouli directorial ‘RRR’.

Speaking about the film, it revolves around the life of a woman who was sold into prostitution and rose to become one of the most revered and powerful women in Kamathipura and Mumbai city. The film is based on a chapter of Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens Of Mumbai.
A few days back, the makers revealed that the film is all set to hit the big screen on February 25.
