According to a report in a news portal, the climax of the second season had hinted at a third part, and Raj and Krishna have already started working on the script. The report added that while the makers have cracked the idea they are still developing the story and will wrap that up soon. It is reportedly expected to go on floors by the end of this year.
Apart from Manoj and Priyamani, more supporting cast is expected to join the third season. The casting process will begin soon after the script is completed.
‘The Family Man’ series had featured Sharib Hashmi, Priyamani, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Shreya Dhanwanthary among many others.
In the show, we have seen Srikant Tiwari torn between his family life and profession. In an earlier interview with ETimes, we had asked him as Manoj Bajpayee, what comes first for him. He had replied, “For me, family is of utmost importance. I am lucky that I have a very understanding family.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Raj and DK Raj have three projects in the pipeline. They recently wrapped up a web series starring Shahid Kapoor, Raashii Khanna and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. They also have ‘Guns and Gulaabs’, which features Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salmaan and Adarsh Gourav. They will also be helming Varun Dhawan and Samantha starrer ‘Citadel’.
