Sanya Malhotra joins Shah Rukh Khan for the shoot of Atlee’s film in Mumbai today – Times of India

Film City is at the peak of its activity – Shah Rukh Khan’s untitled next with director Atlee resumes shooting today. His co-artiste, Sanya Malhotra, will join the current schedule, which is expected to last only a week or so. However, it has made the actor’s fans rather happy and excited. The film by Atlee, which also stars Nayanthara, was being shot between Mumbai and a few outstation locations until September-October last year. Sanya had also shot with SRK around that time for a few days. Work came to a grinding halt, following a few ups and downs in the King Khan’s family domain. The film is now back on schedule and will be completed shortly. The current schedule focusses on a couple of crucial sequences.

According to a unit hand, “Everyone was waiting to reunite and resume shooting for the film. People in the industry, and those in the know are already hailing it for its production value and storyline. The schedule will be a short one — SRK will get busy with Pathan and Sanya’s dates are blocked for her next, ‘Hit: The First Case’, with Rajkummar Rao. The rest of Sanya’s portions in the film will be shot later.”

For those not in the know, Sanya will be seen in ‘Love Hostel’, with Bobby Deol and Vikrant Massey later this week. She’s also in talks to play the leading lady in the Hindi remake of ‘The Great Indian Kitchen’, one of Malayalam cinema’s most loved films in recent times. With a busy year ahead and films like Sam Bahadur on her table, the actress is sure to be having a blast, hopping sets and travelling from one character to another.
