‘Bheeshma Parvam’ Trailer: Mammootty starrer gives a glimpse of late actors Nedumudi Venu and KPAC Lalitha – Times of India


Veteran Malayalam actress KPAC Lalitha passed away on February 22, at the age of 78. The National award winning actress’ demise was after four months of thespian Nedumudi Venu’s passing away. The duo’s demise marks the end of an era, since there are no actors who could either replace them, or step into the shoes of the characters they breathed life into.

Coincidently a movie where Nedumudi Venu and KPAC Lalitha shared the screen and played pivotal parts, and is releasing posthumously happens to be ‘Bheeshma Parvam’, helmed by Amal Neerad.

The film features Mammootty in the lead role and the makers has launched the trailer of the film, as a tribute to KPAC Lalitha and Nedumudi Venu. The trailer surely gives goosebumps to the moviebuffs, who were eagerly waiting for an update of the upcoming movie, and it also gives a glimpse of two gems Malayalam cinema lost of late – Nedumudi Venu and KPAC Lalitha. Meanwhile, KPAC Lalitha was laid to rest at her residence ‘Orma’, in Wadakkanchery, Thrissur, with full state honours on Wednesday (Feb 23). Wife of late legendary filmmaker Bharathan, KPAC Lalitha is survived by her son Sidharth and daughter Sreekutty.
