‘Maar Khayegaa’: Akshay Kumar makes an evil entry in the latest ‘Bachchhan Paandey’ song – Times of India

After dropping a powerful trailer of this year’s much-awaited film ‘Bachchhan Paandey’ starring Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Arshad Warsi and Jacqueline Fernandez, the makers have now unveiled the first song ‘Maar Khayegaa’ to introduce Akki stepping into the shoes of an anti-hero character.

The song stars Akshay in his never-seen-before deadly yet appealing gangster avatar as Bachchchan Paandey, who can kill anytime and anywhere. With intriguing larger-than-life visuals, the song highlights fiery and up-tempo to match the on-screen baddie’s personality.

Choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, ‘Maar Khayegaa’ is composed and designed by Vikram Montrose. Crooned by Farhad Bhiwandiwala and Vikram Montrose, the song lyrics are penned by Farhad Bhiwandiwala, Azeem Dayani and Vikram Montrose.

Announcing the song on social media, Akshay tweeted, “क्योंकि भय बनाये रखना ज़रूरी हैं #MaarKhayegaa, song out now! ‘Bachchhan Paandey’ is helmed by Farhad Samji and backed by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. It marks the official fourth collaboration between Akshay Kumar and Samji after ‘Entertainment’, ‘Housefull 3’ and ‘Housefull 4’.

The film is slated for a theatrical release on 18 March, on the auspicious occasion of Holi.
