Meanwhile, Rani called Bappi Lahiri’s demise ‘personal loss’. Talking about the same, she had said, “My Mum and Bappi uncle were childhood friends from Calcutta. It’s a personal loss for our family, my mother is devastated. While the whole world mourns his loss, I can’t help but think of all the memories I have of him from my childhood.”
The ‘Disco King’ of Bollywood passed away at the age of 69 on February 15 due to Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). He was 69. The ‘Yaad Aa Raha Hai’ singer was cremated at Pawan Hans cremation ground in Mumbai. He had OSA since one last year.
