‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’ director RS Prasanna is reportedly working on a movie about a basketball team and according to a news portal, the filmmaker has approached Anushka Sharma to essay the lead opposite Aamir. Anushka has reportedly given a nod to the project but is yet to sign on the dotted line. If all goes well then Anushka will begin work on this film after wrapping her sports drama ‘Chakra Xpress’. This project is said to be inspired from Spanish film, ‘Campeones’ (2018). On his birthday, when Aamir was asked about this project, the actor had said, “I haven’t announced my next film yet, how did you get to know? Planning is on, I’ll let you know soon.” ‘Campeones’ narrates the journey of an arrogant, drunkard coach, who trains a team of intellectually disabled people. Aamir Khan was reportedly planning to start ‘Mogul’ with Subhash Kapoor post ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, but he has now delayed this Gulshan Kumar biopic. He will first start work on RS Prasanna’s film.
