According to Boxofficeidia, ‘The Kashmir Files’ added Rs 10.50 crore nett to its total on day 12. In its second week, the film is looking at pocketing 105-110 crore nett. Directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, ‘The Kashmir Files’ has been enjoying a glorious run at the box office. The small-budget drama has earned praise from across the nation and was also made tax free in several states. This film narrates the story of the exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits in 1990. It features Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi, Darshan Kumar and Mithun Chakraborty in lead roles.

‘The Kashmir Files’ has been giving some tough competition to Holi release ‘Bachchhan Paandey’, which also recorded a slight decline in collection on Tuesday. Early estimate suggests that this action drama has earned around Rs 3.25 crore nett on its fifth day at the box office, which is 5-10 per cent down. But this drop doesn’t matter much because the overall trend of ‘Bachchhan Paandey’ is low. At the end of its first week, this Akshay Kumar starrer is expected to earn around Rs 47 crore nett. Directed by Farhan Samji, this film also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi and Kriti Sanon.
