The actor shared a monochrome boomerang video where he is seen getting slapped by his female friend. He captioned it, ‘@itsanitarani telling me about the Oscars. I’d have stood up and turned the other cheek if I knew what was coming!’

Will had slapped comedian Chris Rock on the Oscar stage after he cracked a joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith. Jada suffers from alopecia due to which she keeps her head shaved. Chris joked that he would like to see her in the sequel of ‘G.I. Jane’, which starred Demi Moore as a bald woman.
Smith publicly apologized on Monday in a heartfelt note he shared on his social media handles. Smith’s statement read in part, “I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be.”
