‘RRR’, ‘Jersey’ ‘Attack’ Mumbai distributor Rahul Haksar dies at 60 – Times of India


‘RRR’, ‘Jersey’, ‘Attack’ Mumbai distributor Rahul Haksar has passed away. The death has come as sad news to the industry. Haksar was very close to several filmmakers. He also distributed Rohit Shetty‘s ‘Sooryavanshi’ in Mumbai. Haksar was 60.

In the past two years, Haksar contracted COVID twice. This was followed by a heart attack, which subsequently required bypass surgery. After the bypass was done, Haksar was somewhat alright but later developed some nerve issue. The leading distributor was leading a life, in and out of the hospital, since nearly a year.

Haksar owned Ganesh cinema in Mumbai and controlled several other exhibition outlets.
