ETimes had exclusively reported that the series will be shot in the director’s lucky location, Goa. Most of Rohit Shetty’s films have been shot in the tourist hotspot state and the filmmaker will prefer to execute his first real OTT project in his favourite location.
With ‘Indian Police Force’ Rohit is creating a cop universe that is different from his ‘Singham’, ‘Simba’ and ‘Sooryavanshi’ world. The viewers will not get to see Rohit’s familiar film characters in this new series, instead, new faces will get added to the story of this cop drama. We can expect to see younger stars become a part of the series.
Opening up about this exciting new project, Shetty said, “Indian Police Force is a very special one for me and I’ve been working on it for years. This story will transcend geographies and linguistic barriers, providing me with an opportunity to showcase the same to audiences worldwide. I am super excited to be working with the amazingly talented Sidharth Malhotra in this series. I have always strived to push the envelope of action-first entertainment and with this series, I am confident we will create a new benchmark.”
‘Indian Police Force’ is an eight-part high-octane action series marks Rohit Shetty’s digital debut. The fiction series pays an ode to the selfless service, unconditional commitment and fierce patriotism of our police officers across the country, who put everything on the line in their call of duty.
