An Instagram page on Friday shared a series of photos and videos of the young man who surprisingly bears a striking resemblance to King Khan. If you think you’re seeing double, you quite possibly are.
In his post, he said, “My parents were especially proud of the fact that they gave birth to a kid who had an uncanny resemblance to India’s superstar.”
He went on to tell the Instagram page of Official Humans Of Bombay that his resemblance to the Bollywood superstar has gained him a fan-following of his own. He claimed that fans of the actor start mobbing him for selfies thinking the real deal. He even recalled instances when the police had to be called in to help free him from crazy fans.
Ibrahim wrote, “To see people so enthusiastic to meet me every day made me want to take my SRK persona seriously and become his doppelganger.” Revealing his methods to play the perfect double, he said, “I started watching all his movies and copying his mannerisms. In understanding SRK, I also got mesmerized by how charming, kind and big-hearted our Badshah of Bollywood is. And those are qualities I try to imbibe in myself too.”
While he does look much like King Khan, Ibrahim says he has still not met the superstar. “It will be a dream come true if one day I get to meet my idol, SRK in person! I’d be speechless if that happened but when I’d get over being starstruck I’d tell him, ‘For always making me laugh, cry, dance, sing and have fun… I thank you. Dil Se!'” he concluded.
As far as the real SRK is concerned, the actor is currently busy shooting for Atlee‘s next and his film with Rajkumar Hirani titled ‘Dunki’.
Come January 2023, the actor will make his big-screen return with the film ‘Pathaan’ which will see him share the frame with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
