
The film officially registered the fourth-best opening for a Hollywood film in India on Day 1. ‘Doctor Strange In the Multiverse Of Madness’ stands behind ‘Avengers: Endgame’, ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ and ‘Avengers: Infinity War’.
The film has also set the ball rolling for bigger Hollywood releases lined up for release in near future. James Cameron’s ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ releases in theatres in December and similar fireworks can be expected at the box office.
In conversation with ETimes, speaking about working with Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Cumberbatch had said, “She’s wonderful, she’s like a breath of fresh air. She’s the real light and force of nature. She just steps on set and everybody just kind of gets in the mood. She doesn’t take that ability or herself seriously and yet when she’s doing it, she’s mesmerising to watch. She’s a fine actress and very good friend.”
