In an interview with a news portal, Ranveer called Shah Rukh an absolute pioneer in Indian entertainment. According to the actor, SRK is called the king for a reason. Be it award shows or live shows, the ‘Pathan’ star is the benchmark and that he defines it.
Elaborating further, Ranveer also added that he really loves Shah Rukh and has a great amount of respect for him. The actor also added that he just cannot wait to see the superstar back on screen.
Shah Rukh Khan is making a comeback after four years of hiatus with Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathan’ co-starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in lead roles. Apart from this, SRK also has projects like, Atlee’s commercial entertainer with Nayanthara and Sanya Malhotra and Rajkumar Hirani’s immigration drama, ‘Dunki’ co-starring Taapsee Pannu.
Ranveer, on the other hand, is awaiting the release of ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ co-starring Shalini Pandey. Apart from this, he also has Rohit Shetty’s ‘Cirkus’ where he will be seen sharing screen space with Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde.
