Cannes 2022: Deepika Padukone makes a stunning statement in a ruffled white saree for her final appearance at the film festival – Times of India

For her final appearance at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival this year, Deepika Padukone opted for a gorgeous white ruffles saree. The actress notched up the drama with a strapless blouse and an elaborate pearl neck piece. She completed her look with a sleep bun and diamond earrings. Deepika played down the makeup as compared to her first dramatic saree appearance at the festival’s red carpet.

For the closing ceremony red carpet at the 75th Cannes film festival, Deepika posed with jury members Ladj Ly, Jasmine Trinca, Noomi Rapace, Joachim Trier, Rebecca Hall and Jeff Nichols. At the closing ceremony, Deepika stated, “My fellow jurors opened my mind and changed my approach to discussing films. The way I talk about every aspect of my own life is going to be different now. That’s the kind of impact it’s had on me – it’s not just about the cinema.” During her stay at Cannes, the actress was briefly visited by husband Ranveer Singh.

On the work front, Deepika Padukone will next be seen in ‘Pathaan’, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. Apart from this she also has ‘Fighter’ with Hrithik Roshan and ‘The Intern’ remake with Amitabh Bachchan. Deepika Padukone will also be seen in Nag Ashwin’s next untitled venture with Prabhas.
