The clip also gave us a first look at Ranbir in action shooting flames out of his hands. It also gave us glimpses of Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and even Mouni Roy as the antagonist.

While the fans seemed to be going gaga over the new clip, there were many who thought otherwise. Taking to Twitter, many shared their opinion about the VFX not being up to the mark. Another kept it real and said, “(I don’t know why), but the first look reminded me of #TeFiti from #Moana.”

DNEG, Prime Focus, which helped Denis Villeneuve‘s pick up the Oscar for Best Visual Effects at the 94th Academy Awards for ‘Dune’, is also the one behind the VFX for Ayan Mukerji’s magnum opus.
After five long years in the making, the film is slated to hit theatres this September.
