Last night, KK left the world of living after he felt very uncomfortable after performing at an event in Kolkata. The singer was rushed to a hospital but declared dead on arrival.
A post mortem has been ordered and the cause of death is yet to be ascertained, while so far it looks as a cardiac arrest.
When contacted, Alka Yagnik reminisced KK, saying, “KK was a prolific artist with a beautiful voice quality, a thorough gentleman, a very warm and cheerful person, a really sweet guy who kept to himself and his family. He would maintain a low profile , and be away from parties and social get-togethers.”
Added Alka Yagnik, “KK has left us some very memorable and evergreen songs, he had a tremendous body of work. Be will be greatly missed in the world of music and remembered forever. May he rest in peace.”
