‘Bholaa Shankar’: Ram-Lakshman brothers to choreograph action sequences for Chiranjeevi starrer – Times of India


The shooting of Chiranjeevi‘s next with director Meher Ramesh titled ‘Bholaa Shankar‘ will be resumed with a massive action sequence in a set erected by the team on Tuesday. After wrapping up the first schedule, the makers have erected a huge set where they’ll shoot some important scenes and action sequences for nearly a couple of days.

Renowned stunt choreographers Ram-Lakshman, popular for their work in Telugu filmdom, have been roped in to take care of the action scenes in the film. The twin brothers have worked on Telugu films such as ‘Arya’, ‘Dhee’, ‘Neninthe’, ‘Legend’, ‘Sarrainodu’, ‘Darbar’, ‘Akhanda’, and ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ among others. The fighter duo has bagged six Nandi awards for their work over the years. Some of their upcoming projects include ‘Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh’, ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ and ‘Ottakomban’.

‘Bholaa Shankar’ was officially launched with a puja in Hyderabad in November last year. AK Entertainments, best known for producing Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’, is bankrolling the project on a lavish budget. Mahati Swara Sagar was officially signed on for the project. While it has already been confirmed that Dudley, the talented lensman whose recent work includes ‘Satyameva Jayate 2’ and ‘Bhoomi’, has been signed on for the project, editor Marthand K Venkatesh, who is known for his projects such as ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’, ‘Love Story’, ‘Drushyam 2’, ‘Narappa,’ is also part of the film.

All eyes are on ‘Bholaa Shankar’ as the combination of Chiranjeevi and Meher Ramesh has set the bar very high. Tamannaah Bhatia has been finalized as the leading lady. Keerthy Suresh, Murli Sharma, Vennela Kishore, Rao Ramesh, Rashmi Gautam, Pragathi, P. Ravi Shankar, Getup Srinu, Tulasi, Raghu Babu, Sreemukhi, Satya, Prabhas Sreenu and Uttej will be seen playing significant roles.
