The actor, who is best known for his work on the ‘Baahubali’ franchise, has hiked his fees to a handsome sum, states a report on Bollywoodlife.com. The actor has reportedly asked the makers of ‘Adipurush’ for a hike of around Rs 20 crore even though his fees was said to be around Rs 90-100 crore.
This move has reportedly added pressure on the producers who have been caught in a tight spot. If they agree to the actor’s demand, it will reportedly raise the budget of the film by around 25% as a sizeable portion of the film is still left to be shot. The report further states that if the team does not give into Prabhas’ demand, it could create unwanted friction on the sets.
This increase in the actor’s fees comes at a time when his previous film ‘Radhe Shyam’ crashed at the box office. Although set on a huge budget, the film failed to bring in the masses.
‘Adipurush’, which is rooted in Hindu mythology, stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles.
