
But what pushed her to switch between her multiple jobs? “For me, my most defining moments in my career happened every time I got ‘bored’. I was born and raised in Bangalore and I got massively bored there. After my graduation, I wanted to go out for work. I wanted to go to Mumbai, but my parents insisted that I should go to Dubai instead.”
While in Dubai she worked in the marketing department of a software company. “I didn’t enjoy the job much. I didn’t want to continue and so I moved on to hosting events professionally. I have been a host for 7 years and I got bored doing that too. The minute you realise, there’s no twitch inside you or no fire left within over the work you do, it’s time to switch,” says the actress who finally moved towards acting and was seen playing a host in films like Salman Khan starrer Sultan and Ranveer Singh starrer Gully Boy.
Ask the Jawaani Jaaneman actress how happy she is with her career in Bollywood and she signs off saying, “I am very excited at the moment. I love that happy, nervous energy every time I am on a film set or in a studio. This is what I want right now. It is calming and relaxing for me.”
