The series is being said to be a quirky drama thriller. It has been co-written by Sita R Menon, Suman Kumar and Hussain Dalal. Apart from Raashii and Shahid, the makers have also roped in South star Vijay Sethupathi in a key role.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shahid Kapoor was last seen in the Hindi remake of Telugu film, ‘Arjun Reddy’. ‘Kabir Singh’ also starred Kiara Advani in the lead role. It did a record business at the box-office., apart from garnering mixed reviews from the audience and the critics alike.
Next, the actor will be seen in yet another Hindi remake of a Telugu film titled, ‘Jersey’. Shahid will be seen playing the role of a cricketer in the movie. Apart from him, the movie will also feature Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur in key roles.
