With entertainment shifting to streaming platforms in the past one month, box office figures are no longer being chased by Bollywood. However Ajay Devgn reveals that he never really bothered about film’s commercial success. Speaking about box office figures, the actor told Times Now in a recent interaction, “Do you think it has mattered to me? I’ve never bothered, I’ve never given interviews (about it), I’ve never spoken about it. I’m not scared about it.”
Recently Ajay Devgn started shooting for Indra Kumar’s film ‘Thank God’ at a studio in Mumbai. Revealing details about the narrative, a source had previously told ETimes, “The makers have built heaven’s set at the studio and, as the title suggests, God plays an important role in the film. Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet will be joining the shoot very soon”. ‘Thank God’ was announced in 2019 and was supposed to go on the floors in January 2020 but the pandemic delayed all plans. Apart from this, Ajay Devgn will also be seen in ‘Maidaan’ , ‘RRR’ and his own directorial venture ‘MayDay’.
Ajay Devgn is also looking at a grand OTT debut with a thrilling web series. The actor has signed up with Esha Deol and Ileana D’Cruz for a digital show titled ‘Rudra’.
