Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been busy shooting for Mani Rathnam’s magnum opus ‘Ponniyin Selvan’. After shooting for the movie in Puducherry, the actress travelled with the team to Hyderabad for the period drama’s final schedule. According to a news portal, Mani Rathnal will shoot for some intense scenes with Aishwarya, Karthi, Trisha and Jayam. The entire cast of ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ will also reportedly shoot for a song there.
‘Ponniyin Selvan’ will see Aishwarya Rai Bachchan essay a double role, that of princess Nandini, and her mother, queen Mandakini Devi. While she was shooting in Puducherry, Aishwarya was accompanied by husband Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya. The trio had also visited actor R Sarathkumar’s family there. Post the visit, R Sarathkumar’s daughter Varalaxmi had penned an appreciation post for the Bachchans and shared, “Met 3 of the warmest and most humble people last night.. none other than the gorgeous @aishwaryaraibachchan_arb the handsome hunk @bachchan and their sweetest daughter #aaradhyabachchan Despite the families and lineage that they hail from, their humility and warmth was so amazing, I was just overwhelmed with their love.!!!
