Raksha Bandhan 2021: Akshay Kumar calls sister Alka the ‘most selfless person’ he knows, shares pic from family album – Times of India

We all know how excited Akshay Kumar has been to be a part of his upcoming family drama ‘Raksha Bandhan’. He had even shared a chunk of memories with fans when he wrapped up the Mumbai schedule of the Aanand L Rai directorial.

And now, on Sunday, while the entire nation is celebrating the special occasion of Raksha Bandhan with emotional tributes to siblings, the Bollywood superstar left a touching note for his younger sister Alka along with a throwback picture from their family album. The ‘Bel Bottom’ star captioned the Instagram post as, “My go to person when I’m in a dilemma, someone who’s always stood by my side, corrected me when I’m wrong, happiest for my achievements. The most selfless person I know, my sister Alka ♥️ I wouldn’t have been the person I am without you….”

Meanwhile, Akshay’s recently released Bollywood spy thriller ‘Bell Bottom’ has received a huge response at the Box Office since its release on August 19. Apart from Akshay Kumar, the Ranjit Tewari directorial also stars Vaani Kapoor, Lara dutta and Huma Qureshi in key roles.

Up next for the seasoned actor are some interesting films including ‘Bachchan Pandey’, ‘Ram Setu’, ‘ Atrangi Re’ and ‘Sooryavanshi’. He will also be seen in a film co-starring Rakul Preet Singh.
