Amitabh Bachchan’s personal bodyguard Jitendra Shinde’s salary is over Rs 1 crore! – Times of India

Bollywood celebrities are huge public figures and are instantly thronged by a crowd every time they step out. Personal bodyguards save the actors from crazy fans and keep the security in check and in turn are paid a whopping salary. Amitabh Bachchan, who enjoys massive popularity, has a personal bodyguard named Jitendra Shinde, who is often snapped with the actor. It is indeed a tough job to protect the veteran actor from his sea of fans and according to Times Now, Amitabh Bachchan’s bodyguard earns Rs 1.5 crore annually.

Jitendra apparently owns a security agency too, but he personally accompanies Big B on his many outings. Several other Bollywood actors like Anushka Sharma, Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan also pay huge salaries to their personal bodyguards.

Amitabh Bachchan is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming thriller ‘Chehre’. The film is directed by Rumy Jafry and also stars Emraan Hashmi, Rhea Chakraborty, Krystle D’souza and Annu Kapoor in pivotal roles. Apart from this, Amitabh Bachchan also has Ayan Mukerji directed ‘Brahmastra‘. This sci-fi drama stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead with Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy essaying key roles. Big B will also be seen in Nagraj Manjule’s ‘Jhund’, Nag Ashwin’s untitled film with Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, Ajay Devgn’s ‘May Day’ and ‘Good Bye’. The veteran actor has also signed up to fill in for late Rishi Kapoor in the Hindi remake of ‘The Intern’ with Deepika Padukone.
