Shah Rukh Khan will resume shooting for ‘Pathan’ on August 28 and will then travel to Europe, including Spain, for the next schedule of the film during September end. An industry source revealed, “There is a shooting schedule planned for Europe but the dates haven’t been finalised yet. Also, contrary to media reports Afghanistan was never on the list of locations for the film.” However it is learnt that the unit may shoot an elaborate portion of the film in Madrid and it could be around popular tourist locations in the heart of the capital city of Spain.
Shah Rukh Khan has already shot for the Dubai schedule of the film in January earlier this year and after he returned, Salman Khan shot a cameo for the film. SRK began shooting for ‘Pathan’, which is yet officially unannounced by the production house. Deepika Padukone and John Abraham have also shot for the film.
The film went on floors in November 2020 and continued shooting smoothly till the second lockdown was announced. After the shoot resumed recently the crew have been following proper Covid protocols and regular breaks are being taken for the unit to get tested according to guidelines.
The film is also likely to travel to Russia and has Alexander Dostal as one of the producers. Dostal has also worked on ‘Fast & Furious 6’.
