Sonu Sood to be the brand ambassador for Delhi government’s children mentorship programme, confirms CM Kejriwal – Times of India

Sonu Sood has been earning praise for his kind gesture for helping all those in need during the tough pandemic time. And now the actor is all set be an inspiration for children as Sonu has joined forces with Delhi government for their mentorship initiative for children. Sonu Sood has been appointed as the brand ambassador of Delhi government’s Desh Ke Mentor program. Speaking at the occasion, the actor shared, “Today, I have been given an opportunity to mentor lakhs of students. There is no greater service than guiding students. I am sure together we can & we will.”

Thanking the actor, CM Kejriwal shared, “We are thankful to Sonu Sood for taking out time from his busy schedule. He is an inspiration for the entire country. Thousands reach out to him for help. This is a sort of miracle that he has been doing what so many governments have not been able to do. We had a long chat about his work and shared the work of the Delhi government with him.”

After Sonu Sood’s recent meeting with Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, rumours were rife that the actor is planning to join politics. However, refusing the same, Sonu said at the press conference, “There is nothing policital. People have always told me to get into politics and one has to be blessed to join politics. But as of now we haven’t discussed anything political. I have been getting constant offers but I have never really thought about it and that’s why I haven’t discussed that.”
