‘Bell Bottom’ attains an ‘amazing feat’ and it is making Akshay Kumar’s heart ‘swell with pride’ – Times of India


Akshay Kumar and Lara Dutta starrer ‘Bell Bottom’ released in theatres on August 19. It is the first big film to get a theatrical release after the second wave of coronavirus. The Ranjit Tewari directorial has managed to bring the audience back to theatres as it is doing a decent business at the box office. On the other hand, Akshay recently took to social media and shared an update about his film.

He took to his Instagram story and mentioned that ‘Bell Bottom’ was being shown at the world’s highest mobile theatre in Leh, Ladakh. Sharing a picture, Akki wrote, “Makes my heart swell with pride that BellBottom was screened at World’s highest mobile theatre at Leh in Ladakh. At an altitude of 11562 ft, the theatre can operate at -28 degrees C. What an amazing feat!” Have a look:

Meanwhile, Akshay is currently in London as he is shooting for his next with Ranjit Tewari. He had recently shared a picture from the streets of London after finishing his quarantine. He had written, “Just finished my quarantine in London today and stepped out for some fresh air. One look around and I was immediately transported to Ratlam which I remember visiting as a child during my summer vacations. Anywhere I’d see, I could see green
Missing Ratlam ki galiyaan :)”

On the work front, Akshay has a solid lineup of films in his kitty. He will be soon seen in ‘Atrangi Re’, ‘Raksha Bandhan’, ‘Prithviraj’, ‘Bachchan Pandey’, ‘Sooryavanshi’ and ‘Cinderalla’.
