‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha’ actor Kim Seon Ho in talks to make his film debut – Times of India


South Korean actor Kim Seon Ho is likely to star in his first film ever. According to industry sources, Soompi reported that the ‘Star-Up’ star is currently reviewing a casting offer for an upcoming movie titled ‘Sab Tropics’ (literal translation).

To this, his agency, SALT Entertainment confirmed the reports and added that the actor is ‘positively’ coordinating the details of the same.

Touted to be a full-fledged drama, ‘Sad Tropics’ is a story focusing on a man who comes from a family where the father is Korean while the mother belongs to Filipinos. It revolves around the lead who aspires to become a boxer and his dreams land him in Korea where he searches for his father who had abandoned him long ago. In between his quest, he encounters various situations and meets different people.

‘Sad Tropics’ is helmed by Park Hoon Jung who has directed hit films, such as ‘New World, ‘V.I.P’ and more.

On the work front, if Kim Seon Ho signs up officially for the ‘Sad Tropics’, it will be his film debut. Currently, he is appearing in the K-drama ‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha’ with actress Shin-Min Ah. He is also a part of ‘2 Days & 1 Night’.

In 2017, Kim Seon Ho made his acting debut on the small screen with KBS2’s hit drama ‘Good Manager.’
