Neetu Kapoor recently recalled how Rishi Kapoor’s tweets once angered people and a crowd of 300 reached their residence.

Recalling the incident, Neetu revealed on Kapil Sharma’s chat show that their house was getting renovated so they were temporarily staying in another house. When she reached Krishna Raj Bungalow with her staff members, she saw a crowd of some 300 angry people chanting slogans against her husband Rishi Kapoor.

Elaborating further, the actress stated that she was very scared and called the police. The inspector told the veteran actress to ask her actor husband to tone down his tweets. Neetu asked the police to come with her and tell him in person what was happening. However, the late veteran actor responded to it by saying, ‘It takes guts’.

Three days later, Neetu found a police officer outside their home and he told her that there was a threat to their lives. Only after that did Rishi tone down his tweets.

Neetu, Ranbir and Riddhima along with other celebrities of Bollywood recently remembered the veteran actor on his 69th birth anniversary on September 4. Rishi passed away after battling cancer for two years in 2020.

On the work front, Neetu will be seen in Raj Mehta’s ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ where she will be seen sharing the screen space with none other than Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani in lead roles.
