A few days back, Anushka’s husband, Virat Kohli announced his decision to quit as India’s T20 captain after leading the team in the upcoming T20 World Cup in UAE. “I’ve decided to step down as the T20 captain after this T20 World Cup in Dubai in October,” he wrote in a statement on his social media handle. Sharma expressed support to her hubby and shared Kohli’s statement on Instagram with a heart emoji.
On the work front, Anushka was last seen in the 2018 movie ‘Zero’, co-starring actors Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif, and has produced two acclaimed projects – web series ‘Pataal Lok‘ and movie ‘Bulbbul’. The actress is currently producing ‘Qala‘, which marks late actor Irrfan Khan’s son Babil Khan’s debut. She is yet to announce her next project.
If the reports are to be believed, she has signed on the dotted line for a movie on cricketer Jhulan Goswami. However, Anushka is yet to officially announce the same.
