While the ‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha’ actor’s agency Salt Entertainment has requested time to reflect on the allegations, reportedly the advertisers in South Korea have now started taking down promotions featuring Kim Seon Ho soon after the controversy hit headlines.
According to The Korea Herald, these commercial ads included popular international brands such as an American multinational pizza restaurant chain, a Japanese multinational camera brand and another food company.
Meanwhile, on Monday Kim Seon fans were spotted requested netizens to refrain from spreading false rumours and baseless speculation. It also promised strict legal action against defamation of the actor.
It all began when an online post in the Korean online community Nate Pann sparked the speculations based on a post that read “am disclosing actor K’s two-faced and shameless true nature.”Without revealing the name of the actor, the user called him a “piece of trash without the slightest conscience or sense of guilt” and alleged that she was forced to have an abortion when she was pregnant with actor K’s child. It also claimed that actor K’s behaviour later changed towards her post the abortion.
While there’s still no confirmation on the identity of actor K, on Monday the speculations pointed towards Kim Seon Ho after influencer Lee Jin Ho claimed it to be popular celeb Kim Seon Ho.
Later today, the actor’s agency called off Kim Seon Ho’s interviews with the press on the success of his recently concluded K-Drama ‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha’. He was scheduled to address the media on Wednesday tvN’s Saturday-Sunday series claimed the 7th spot on OTT worldwide, as per Monday reports.
