‘And Just Like That’ is a ‘Sex and the City’ reboot, which will air in December. It will narrate the story of Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and their friendship. “The series will follow Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s,” the show’s description reads. Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha Jones in the original series, had revealed that she will not be returning for the sequel, after her much-publicized feud with Sarah Jessica Parker.
Previously, Sarah Jessica Parker had revealed that the coronavirus pandemic will be a part of the story line. “(COVID-19 will) obviously be part of the storyline, because that’s the city (these characters) live in. And how has that changed relationships once friends disappear? I have great faith that the writers are going to examine it all,” she had told Vanity Fair.
