Indian actor will soon be seen in Scott Z Burns’ climate change anthology, which also features Meryl Streep, Kit Harington and Tahar Rahim, among others. Talking about his career in the West, he says, “The White Tiger was instrumental in me getting the new project. Carmen Cuba, the casting director of the anthology, and Scott Burns, who is the producer, had seen The White Tiger and liked my portrayal of Balram. They felt confident about me playing Gaurav (in the anthology). I feel gratitude for getting these opportunities.”

The BAFTA nominee, who was also seen in the Bollywood film Mom (2017), confesses that it’s unnerving to be a part of a project that features such renowned actors. He shares, “Of course, I am nervous that so many big names feature in this anthology, but I am trying to focus on my process. Meryl Streep, Tahar and Forest Whitaker feature in different stories. I am not sharing screen space with them. But the fact that we are a part of the anthology means a lot to me.”
The young actor is all praises for his The White Tiger co-star Priyanka Chopra Jonas. He says, “Priyanka has always been a solid support system for me. She is that one person who I can go to and ask about anything. She is the perfect example of how it’s done. Whenever I am in two minds about any crucial decisions, she has always been there as a guiding force. I have immense respect for who she is as a person.”
