Fawad Khan misses Bollywood; says he still keeps in touch with his industry friends from India – Times of India

Pakistani actor Fawad Khan enjoys a massive fan following in India after appearing in great commercial Bollywood films like ‘Khoobsurat’ and ‘Kapoor & Sons’. However, after appearing in the 2016 film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, the actor was bound to step away from Indian entertainment due to the Uri attack in 2016.

The actor recently acknowledged that he misses Bollywood. Fawad was asked during a conversion by Film Companion if he misses Bollywood, to which the ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’ actor replied ‘yes’ he does. He added that he made some great friends there and still keeps in touch with them. The actor also admitted his love for Mumbai, and says he misses the city so much and that he has had a lovely experience during that time.

Back in 2016, the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association passed a resolution to ban Pakistani artists from working in Indian films. And after the Pulwama terror attack in 2019, the All Indian Cine Workers Association had then announced a total ban on Pakistani artists.

Fawad is all set to return to Indian screens with a web series where he would be reuniting with Zindagi Gulzar Hai co-star Sanam Saeed. Helmed by Asim Abbasi, the show will be aired on an OTT platform.
