‘Pawankhind’: Character poster of Ajay Purkar as ‘Bajiprabhu Deshpande’ unveiled! – Times of India

After impressing the audience with his stupendous performance in ‘Fatteshikast’, actor Ajay Purkar is all set to show his acting prowess in his upcoming historical film ‘Pawankhind‘.

The film ‘Pawankhind’ is already in news for its posters and teaser. To keep the excitement going, recently, the makers of the film unveiled a character poster of Marathi star, Ajay Purkar as ‘Bajiprabhu Deshpande‘.

The poster features Ajay Purkar looking phenomenally promising in his character of ‘Bajiprabhu Deshpande’. Filmmaker Digpal Lanjekar took to his Instagram handle and captioned it “तोफे आधी न मरे बाजी सांगा मृत्यूला!

‘Pawankhind’ will showcase the valour of Baji Prabhu Deshpande in the battle of ‘Pawankhind’ in which 600 Maratha soldiers took on 10,000 Bijapuri soldiers led by Siddi Jauhar.

It also stars Chinmay Mandlekar, Mrinal Kulkarni, Ruchi Mohan, Prajakta Mali, Surabhi Bhave and kshitee jog in pivotal roles.

The film is slated to release on February 18, 2022.
