In an interaction with a news portal, Mrunal revealed that she would travel by local train during her college years. The actress recalled that she would stand at the door and sometimes she would feel like jumping off.
Spilling some beans on her journey, Mrunal added that her parents wanted her to become a dentist but she convinced them to allow her to pursue a degree in Mass Communication. Mrunal, however, added that when the course was not what she had anticipated it to be, she felt lost. The actress also admitted that staying in Mumbai added to her struggles, but she had full confidence in her talent.
Elaborating further, the actress stated that she used to feel she would be nowhere if she did not do well. Mrunal felt that she would be married off at 23 and have kids and that is exactly what she didn’t want. The actress added that she in an attempt to do something different, she would give auditions.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Mrunal is currently awaiting the release of her film, ‘Jersey’ with Shahid Kapoor. The film is an official Hindi adaptation of the Telugu film of the same name. It was slated to hit the theatres in December last year. However, it was pushed ahead owing to the pandemic.
