Bappa Lahiri remembers late father Bappi Lahiri as he shares an adorable throwback video; Calls him ‘greatest gift from God’ – Times of India

Legendary music composer and singer Bappi Lahiri’s sudden demise has saddened everyone. He passed away on February 15 due to obstructive sleep apnea. On Friday afternoon, his son Bappa Lahiri, who returned from the US for the funeral, shared a throwback video on Instagram and remembered his late father.

In the video, Bappi Lahiri is seen doing a jugalbandi with his little grandson Krishh. The duo is seen creating music with the help of a tiffin box.

Sharing the video on his handle, Bappa wrote, “The greatest gift I ever had came from God, and I call him Daddy. Jugalbandi With #krishh #bappilahiri.” Have a look:

Meanwhile, Dr. Deepak Namjoshi, who treated the legendary singer, said that he passed away due to Obstructive Sleep Apnea. He earlier told PTI, “Lahiri had been admitted to the hospital for a month and was discharged on Monday. But his health deteriorated on Tuesday and his family called for a doctor to visit their home. He was brought to the hospital. He had multiple health issues. He died due to OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnea) shortly before midnight.”

Recently, the family held a prayer meet for Bappi Lahiri at Juhu’s Iskon temple.
